What's being advertised?
- Products which won't sell via traditional marketing mechanisms or which are sold by companies who don't want to be identified.
- "Fountain of Youth" is offered for sale quite frequently.
- Pyramid schemes ("make money fast!").
- Bogus investment opportunities.
- Most spam is about spamming software and mailing lists, which is why there are so many new and inexperienced Internet users spamming.
